Project Overview :

This project was created for Los Amantes, with the primary objective of highlighting key dishes from the menu while developing a consistent, high-quality visual presence for the restaurant’s Instagram platform.

The focus was to present each dish in a way that felt rich, appetising, and true to the dining experience, while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic across the brand’s social content.

Lighting & Environment :

To achieve this, we used small continuous lighting setups, allowing us to work discreetly within the restaurant environment without disrupting customers. This approach avoided the use of flash while still providing controlled, directional light to enhance texture, colour, and detail.

Visual Technique :

At times, a subtle fog machine was introduced to emphasize heat, steam, and freshness, adding a sensory quality to the imagery and helping the food feel alive and just-served.

Result & Impact :

The final content was used to promote the menu, support brand identity, and drive engagement across Los Amantes’ social channels, demonstrating how thoughtful lighting and atmosphere can elevate food photography in a live service environment.
